Louis Vuitton S/S19 Bumbag Dauphine

It’s a bag that you have been seeing all over Instagram, and with good reason. With the whole world geared towards bumbags that are tiny, it was only a matter of time that Louis Vuitton came out with their own version for Spring-Summer 2019 that’s known as the Bumbag Dauphine. An extension from the Dauphine family of bags that was inspired by another found in LV’s own archives, this could be the bag that’s sitting nicely on your hips soon, but read on before you make that final decision.

For one, it’s small. Like 19 cm by 12 cm by 5 cm type of small, but that’s because it’s more a WOC than a handbag. Once you lift the flap you’ll find within a large patch zip pocket, 4 card slots and another slot pocket that sits behind the slots. Size-wise, it isn’t completely useless, you can still fit in your iPhone XS Max, car key, a lippy (or two) and some cash, which is pretty much how a WOC works anyway.

What’s interesting is the fact that you can detach the entire purse from the belt it comes with, which allows you to strap on another sling to wear this tiny wonder additional ways. Or, if you prefer, you can just leave it as it is and wear it as Nicolas Ghesquière intended, sitting snugly off kilter on your hips. Priced at SGD3600 for the one in combination canvas (monogram canvas/reverse monogram) with tanned leather, it is available now in Singapore. Go.
