The skincare products from clean beauty brand Biossance (pronounced: bio-sAHnse) were all the buzz on social media after the recent Sephora’s Fall Press Day 2019, where the latest in beauty were showcased. The American beauty brand in question, which maintains a blacklist of 2,000 potentially harmful and toxic ingredients, is one that’s all about pioneering sustainable beauty through biotechnology and sells 100 percent plant-based squalane skincare.
The mega-moisturising key ingredient, which can be found in all its products, is derived from renewable sugarcane in Brazil, making it safe for both you and the planet. And for the first time ever, a total of eight transparent and efficacious products will be launching in Singapore. The next best thing? It isn’t super pricey either with prices ranging from SGD38 for the cream to SGD103 for their facial oil.

If you’re new to the brand, you’ll want to start with these favourites that include the Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel (SGD77) that reduces puffiness and dark circles, Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil (SGD103) that brightens and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and Squalane + Omega Repair Cream (SGD38) that restores skin’s natural moisture barrier for a dewy and healthy-looking complexion. It’s also worth noting that the products are suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin.
