You’ll be able to find a range of products from this brand, but if we were to highlight just one of them, it’ll have to be the Essential Star-cealer Foundation This is a cult favourite that combines foundation and conclear in one easy-to-use compact palette that looks ultra sleek.

2. Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blood Sugar Palette

By Terry Lip Expert

Is it possible to have enough liquid lipsticks? No, not for us.

This is why the launch of Lip Expert by By Terry still makes our heart skip a beat.

The Lip Expert range of liquid lipsticks feature pigment-rich formulas that are long-lasting and comfortable to wear. It’s all about practicality: each product is infused with treatment to care for your lips, and it has a compact packaging and a window design so you can see exactly what colour is inside.

There are 32 shades and two finishes available: Bold Matte and Vinyl Gloss. They retail at SGD55 each.

Fragrances

4. Acqua Di Parma Le Nobli Hair Mist

Acqua Di Parma Le Nobli Hair Mist 1

We think that hair mists are the beauty essentials that are underrated. With the hot and humid Singapore weather and how frequently we head to our beloved hawker stalls for meals, bad smell in our hair is a common problem. But arm yourself with a hair mist and you’ll be smelling good all the time!

Italian luxury fragrance brand Acqua Di Parma has launched its first hair mist collection and dropped three floral scents for us to choose from: Peonia Nobile, Magnolia Nobile, and Rosa Nobile.

Each Acqua Di Parma Le Nobli Hair Mist retails at SGD69.

5. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity EDP

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Edp

When we were introduced to the new launches at Escentials at the media preview, the Gentle Fluidity fragrances left the deepest impression upon us. These are two fragrances that are made with the exact same ingredients but smell totally differently because of the level of concentrations used for each ingredient.

The Silver bottle has a fresh and vibrant trail that’s woody aromatic, while the Gold bottle has a musky oriental fragrance.

The concept reminds us of how the complexity of every person: we can be similar yet different in so many ways.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity EDP retails at SGD270 each.

6. Floraiku The Mountain Standing Still EDP

Floraiku The Mountain Standing Still Edp

Created in 2017, Floraiku is a luxury fragrance brand that’s inspired by Japanese traditions – in particular Japanese haiku poetry. And like the haiku, the fragrance compositions of the brand’s scents are short, sensual, and striking.

We find the olfactory profiles of all the fragrances unique, which means you can easily find a signature scent to call your own. The brand also advocates the concept of “shadowing” – to wear one of their recommended “shadowing scent” alongside your main fragrance to bring out a different dimension of the scent.

There are several fragrances from the brand available at Escentials, but if you don’t have enough time to go through all of them and want a quick recommendation, check out The Mountain Standing Still EDP – its latest launch. This scent has Saffron, Black Tea, and Oud Accord as its key ingredients.

Floraiku The Mountain Standing Still EDP retails at SGD475 (50ml + 10ml refill).

7. Goutal Paris Etoile D’une Nuit EDP

Goutal Paris Etoile D’une Nuit Edp

Picture this: A woman takes out her favourite powder and gently brush it on her face. She ties a satin scarf around her neck and her skin imbued with the scent of makeup. She leaves and heads out for a night of social activities.

The new Etoile D’une Nuit by Goutal Paris embodies exactly this imagery. The scarf on the bottle points to that pretty accessory the woman puts on and the scent has a powdery cosmetic scent that reminds us of the smell of face powders and lipsticks that we’re very familiar with.

Goutal Paris Etoile D’une Nuit EDP is available in 100ml (SGD300) and 50ml (SGD210).

Skincare and Grooming

It also prevents skin irritation that’s a common problem that comes with regular shaves.
