Nike and Virgil Abloh have joined forces once again, bringing you an all-new Athlete in Progress collection that includes post-run apparel and footwear that’s built and made for the track. Aside from the cool run top and tights worn on 800-meter Olympic champion Caster Semenya, the highlight of the collection has got to be the Nike x Off-White Zoom Terra Kiger 5, which will be available in Black/Pink, Green/Grey or White/Green colour combos that works equally well off the track.
Each pair comes with a comfy nylon upper that’s decorated with suede panel overlays and a unique lacing system that wraps around the foot for a solid and secured grip, while the Nike Zoom midsole provides extra cushion with every step. But what sets this sneaker apart from all the other Nike x Off-White collaborations has got to be the track-inspired spike outsole that comes in bright hues of neon green or pink, making for a truly statement-making piece. Finished with the Off-White branding text on the sides and a green zip tie, this is also one for the collectors and fans looking to add another limited pair into their ever-growing sneaker stash.
If you’re keen on getting your hands on a pair, here’s the good news. The Nike x Off-White Zoom Terra Kiger 5 (SGD239) will be available at NIKE.com (yes, even Singapore) as well as Dover Street Market Singapore on 24 June 2019, with a global release date set for 27 June. Do take note that this sneaker is part of the women’s collection, so men who want in a pair will have to take a size or two up.
