For this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, Creamery Boutique Ice Creams is introducing an all-new Black Gold Cookie (S$10.90), which features Mao Shan Wang Lava and a Charcoal Pandan Cookie. This special promotion is only available from now till 30 September 2019.

Creamery Boutique Ice Creams is a dessert cafe known for its quirky and unique dessert flavours which originated from Bangkok and has made its way to Singapore.

They often offer seasonal promotions such as Ondeh-Ondeh Lava Cookies and Nutella Lava Cookies for National Day as well as  Sesame Witch Lava Cookie and Baby Frankenstein Lava Cookie for Halloween. The stars of the show are usually the cookie bases while the available unique ice cream flavours are on a rotation basis.

The Black Gold Cookie (S$10.90) is best paired with Creamery’s homemade ice cream flavours such as Secret Garden made from Eternal Garden Tea by The 1872 Clipper Tea Co.

Light and refreshing, the Secret Garden provides a good balance when eaten with the Mao Shan Wang lava which had an intense bittersweet flavour that complemented the pandan aroma from the charcoal pandan cookie base.

However, Creamery’s also offers eccentric flavours such as Kopiko (S$3.80 per scoop) which tastes exactly like the Kopiko Candy as well as Black Dog (S$3.80 per scoop) that’s made with real Guinness Stout. You can choose whichever flavours you like from the display to pair with your Black Gold Cookie (S$10.90).

If you’re not a fan of durian, you might want to try their Monster Matcha Lava Cookie (S$9). A scoop of their Thai Milk Tea ice cream goes best with it. The Thai Milk Tea ice cream had a sorbet-like texture and it’s not overly sweet. This strong tea combination is tea-rific for an afternoon snack.

Apart from their lava cookie selections, they also sell ice cream cakes and their ice cream flavour in pints. The Ice Cream Cubes (S$4.20 each, S$15.80 for 4) comes in small square boxes for easy storage.

This might just be one of my top places to go to whenever I’m craving for an indulging dessert. Creamery Boutique Ice Creams’ Black Gold Cookie promotion only runs from now till 30 September 2019 so be sure not to miss out this sweet treat.

They often post announcements on their Facebook page and Instagram so do keep a lookout for more new and exciting flavours!
